Why Toro™ Products Taste Like Real Food™
Toro's chefs combine buckwheat, potato flour and other ingredients to create secret recipes that we think outperform other baking mixes currently available in the U.S.
Three of the Toro Baking Mixes contain specially processed wheat starch which contributes to the delicious taste and texture. As explained in more detail at this link, the starch is made from wheat that has been carefully processed to remove virtually all of the gluten. It has the texture of wheat because it's made from wheat. Toro certifies that all of their products adhere to the European standards for gluten-free products, with a total gluten content of less than 0.002%.
The Toro White Bread Mix does not contain wheat starch. It is made with naturally gluten-free ingredients such as corn starch and potato starch.
Why Happy Kitchen™ and Easy Cake™ Products Taste Like Real Food™
The main ingredient in Happy Kitchen and Easy Cake mixes is white rice flour. But not your average white rice flour! Thanks to a special milling process, the flour is extremely fine with a very smooth texture and an increased ability to hold moisture. This exceptional rice flour is combined with natural cane sugar, baking powder and flavorings to create the mixes. (Happy Kitchen and Easy Cake mixes do not contain wheat starch).
Happy Kitchen and Easy Cake mixes are made in a dedicated gluten-free facility that is certified in the HACCP food safety process. The production facility also has Halal certification (similar to Kosher). As a final check the products are batch-tested by an independent laboratory to assure that they are gluten-free.
