Jenny's Story |
|
My Reaction: My Saving Grace: Concerned about 20 ppm gluten content? We understand. This is a fairly new idea in North America. When we arrived in Norway, our friends had “Jenny bread” (they pronounced it Yenny bread) waiting for me, and, to my total surprise, it was fantastic! Mom and I immediately stocked up on their bread mixes and brought back as much as we could carry when we headed home. I rationed them for as long as I could, and our friends were wonderful about sending me care packages every Christmas. Giving YOU Hope! We are delighted to be able to bring these tasty products to people all over America living with celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. To make our products available to everyone, we’ve decided to sell them only through the Internet. I think you’ll agree that they are the best products you have ever tried. Our goal is to help people with celiac disease and gluten sensitivity enjoy meals again. We hope you try all our products, and that you visit us here often. We are always creating new recipes to share. We also want to hear what you think, and we want to hear your stories. Here’s to a new outlook on a celiac-safe lifestyle! Jenny

Thank you so much for bringing these items to the US. I was diagnosd with Celiac disease 3 years ago, and am always looking for new products. I will add your link to my blog, and do a review of the products for those wanting feedback! FYI--Van's Health Food in Livermore, CA may be interested in selling your products. They have a huge GF selection. 2148 1st St Livermore, CA 94550 (925) 447-2976 Thanks, Kaari Jacobs http://themostess.blogspot.com |

| To answer about Sainsburys and Tesco - yes they both have lines in the stores of gf shelf stable baked goods, mini cakes, cookies, crackers, etc. Tesco is also opening this year in CA so that might be a great option for Celiacs out there to have even more European products to choose from. I might have a freind out there send me care packages of gf stuff, if Tesco opens near her in the northern part of the state. | |

Sounds very exciting!! It's funny though, I lived in Surrey, England for seven years and never noticed any gluten free products. I wasn't really looking for them since I and my teenage son had not been diagnosed yet, however, I did frequent the health food stores there and would have thought I would have seen something. Did you say that they are labled gluten-free? How did you know what to look for? Did they have them in bakeries or main stream stores like Tesco or Sainsbury? tks. looking forward to your first shipments! |

I am SO excited to find out you're bringing these products to the USA! I had shelf stable gluten free baked goods in France and London on vacation and I could not believe how fabulous they were. I'm sure these mixes will be similar which means they'll live up to the name 'tastes like real food'! TJ www.gladtobeglutenfree.blogspot.com |
