Yummy Toro Pumpkin Bread Made with our White Bread Mix 1 ½ cup Toro White Bread Mix 1 tsp soda ¾ tsp salt ½ tsp cinnamon ½ tsp nutmeg ½ cup oil 2 eggs 1/4 cup water 1 ½ cup sugar 1 cup pumpkin Mix ingredients thoroughly. Pour into greased bread pan and bake for 1 hour at 350. Makes one loaf. Each bag of Toro White Bread Mix makes 2 loaves of pumpkin bread. |

Gluten-Free Lefse 2 1/3 cup Betty Crocker Potato Buds 1 ¼ tsp. salt 1 T butter 1 cup whole milk 1 cup boiling water 1 ½ cups Toro Sponge Cake Flour (you may add a little more or less, depending on consistency) Toro White Bread Mix Flour (for rolling out lefse) Add boiling water to milk and add this mixture to Potato Buds, salt and butter. Mix quickly with wire beater to a thick mashed potato consistency. CHILL! (perhaps overnight) When chilled, add Toro Sponge Cake Flour and mix with your hands. Make balls ¼ - ½ cup size. Makes about 10 lefse balls. Refrigerate balls and take them out one at a time as you roll them out. Use Toro White Bread Mix Flour to roll out lefse balls. Brown on lefse griddle just like your grandmother used to do. J Enjoy! |

Calzones Winner: Best use of White Bread 3 cups Toro White Bread Mix 3 teaspoons xanthan gum 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 2 tablespoons sugar 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water 2 tablespoons fast rise yeast (one small packet) 2 tablespoons butter melted 3 egg whites, beaten slightly 1 teaspoon vinegar Directions for bread In the bowl of a heavy-duty mixer, place flours, xanthan gum and salt. Blend together. Dissolve the sugar in the water in separate bowl and add yeast. Wait until the mixture foams slightly, then blend into the dry ingredients. Add the butter, egg whites, and vinegar. Mix on high for 3 minutes. Sprinkle cookie sheet with flour and roll out dough. Separate into two sections. Down the middle of each section, add whatever pizza toppings you’d like, not including sauce. For example, you can add cheese, meat, veggies etc. Then fold dough over to seal in toppings, pinching at the top. Cook at 375 for 45 minutes. Take out of oven and top with sauce and eat! |

Stuffing Winner: Best Use of White Bread Mix Bake loaf of Toro White Bread Mix, cool on cooling rack and set aside. 1 stick butter 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup chopped celery 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp sage 1 tsp poultry seasoning ½ tsp salt 1 egg 1 cup chicken broth 6 cups bread cut in cubes Saute chopped onion and celery in butter until just soft. Do not brown. Put the bread cubes in a large mixing bowl. Put in dry ingredients of baking powder, sage, poultry seasoning, and salt. Mix up so it is evenly distributed. Beat up the egg and add. Mix again. Add the sauted onion and celery. Mix up so that everything is evenly distributed. Moisten with chicken broth, mixing again. Place in a quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees until top is browned. Now enjoy! |

Oven: Package Instructions for White Bread Each package makes 1 loaf. 1 package TORO™ Celiac-safe™ White Bread Mix 1 full 7 g (1/4 oz) packet Active Dry yeast (approx. 2 tsp) 1 2/3 cups lukewarm milk or water (milk gives a better crust and more nutritious bread but water can be used if lactose intolerance is a problem). Pre-heat oven to 400° F. Empty bread mix into mixing bowl. Add yeast packet to mix. Pour 1 2/3 cups lukewarm milk over flour mixture before starting mixer. Mix ingredients for 3-4 minutes on high speed. Grease a 9 x 5 inch pan. Put bread dough in pan. Dip spatula in a bowl of milk or water and brush top until smooth. Cover and leave dough to rise in a warm, moist place for 25-30 minutes. We recommend on a cooling rack over your sink or large bowl filled with hot water. Bake on the bottom shelf of oven for 30-35 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Bread Machine: Package Instructions for White Bread Add 1 2/3 cups of lukewarm milk or water to container of bread machine (milk gives a better crust and more nutritious bread but water can be used if lactose intolerance is a problem).
